Cookie Policy

Which cookies and similar techniques Stichting Support a Bit uses on its website.

Stichting Support a Bit uses a limited set of cookies and similar techniques on its website. This page explains what cookies are, which ones we place and how you can manage them.

What are cookies

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you visit a website. Among other things, they are used to remember preferences, to make a website work properly, and to gain anonymised insight into how a website is used.

Which cookies we place

The foundation places only the following cookies and local storage:

Functional cookies

Functional cookies are necessary for the website to function properly. No consent is required for these.

  • A language cookie from next-intl, in which the choice between Dutch and English is stored.
  • A session cookie for the correct delivery of pages via Vercel.

Analytics cookies

To measure use of the website, we use Vercel Analytics. This measurement works without cookies that record personal data, IP addresses are not stored and no profiling takes place. This processing falls within the exception for privacy-friendly statistics for which no prior consent is required in the Netherlands.

No tracking cookies

No tracking cookies, advertising cookies or social media cookies are placed. No external scripts that follow your browsing behaviour are loaded.

Managing and refusing cookies

You can manage cookies through the settings of your browser. There you can review and delete stored cookies or block the placement of new cookies. Disabling functional cookies may cause parts of the website to stop working correctly, for example the language selection.

Changes

When the foundation begins using new cookies or similar techniques, this cookie policy will be updated. The date of the most recent change is shown at the top of this page.
